He wouldn't guarantee us that any more than any of the others I would guess.
Value yours, and everyone's opinions, but I don't prefer the use of terms like "safer option" and "less of a gamble" when choosing our next Manager.
We are looking to get to the top with Mr Moshiri apparently.
Which Manager has the ability, temperament and upside to get us there is the decision that needs to be made by the club.
Safe options and less gambles are decisions BK would have made when we were penniless...as he did 3 years ago.

I don't agree with this because the appointment of Martinez was a gamble 3 years ago. His league records in the past did not showcase he had the capability to do well in the league. 3 years ago we had less resources than now as Kenwright was in charge so we don't have much choice really. Now that Moshiri is in we have a big poll of options out there in choosing our new manager.

RedCafe seems to think its a done deal, they say LVG will be sacked/resign Saturday night or Sunday and Jose announced straight away.

In the hours following today’s FA Cup final, Manchester United are set to announce that a three-year deal has been brokered to make José Mourinho the new first team manager. Negotiations between Ed Woodward, the Premier League club’s executive vice-president, and Jorge Mendes, the 53-year-old’s agent, took place weeks ago; however, some uncertainty about the appointment still lingered within the Red Devils’ board room. Nonetheless, the conclusion was eventually made that irrespective of today’s result at Wembley, Louis van Gaal’s tenure has come to an end. Mourinho signed a pre-contract with Man United stipulating that should the Portuguese tactician not take charge of the team, he would be entitled to millions of euro in compensation.

Mourinho could earn €15 million a season as Man Utd coach
As well as being remunerated handsomely – his salary could reach €15 million per season - Mourinho has also asked the club’s owners for a drastic overhaul of the squad. Bearing in mind that United’s cross-city rivals will be giving new manager Pep Guardiola access to a deep war chest, this news makes it very likely that Manchester will be the world capital of big-money transfers this summer. Speculation abounds about Real Madrid and Barcelona players being pursued to enact the desired personnel changes. Mourinho’s arrival puts Juan Mata’s future at Old Trafford in doubt; the diminutive midfielder was forced to leave Chelsea two years ago due to the Special One lacking faith in his abilities.

There had been talk of Van Gaal staying on and taking over from David Gill as the club’s sporting director, so as to work side by side with Mourinho. However, in the end it has been decided that the Dutchman will leave. Manchester United failure to qualify for next season’s Champions League, and the financial implications that will entail, is a fact that is not lost on fans. The poor personal relationships that exist between Van Gaal and the majority of his players only goes to reinforce the decision to cut ties with him.

Not a surprise at all. For me, a pipe dream.

Oh, the same €15m Fenerbache were going to let him coincidently?

Pellegrini is likely to be the medias top choice this upcoming week.

According to Mr Fox on TEF.

No indication as to whether it has any substance.

Still fairly sure FDB will be selected personally.

Hes a former Real Madrid manager, did outstanding work at Villareal and won the league 2 years ago.

As far as pedigree goes hes right up there, just far to many negatives for me to be happy, his age and his lack of passion stand out.
I agree with the last bit. Maybe 10 years ago but I think it would be wiser to go for someone younger and hungrier.
