But he was in England managing and just won an FA Cup. Clearly the safest option of the three in Bill's head.

In reality he was not a safe option for me. He took Wigan down. We were hoping him to do the same job as Moyes, which was a tough job because his records with Wigan did not back it up even he had more cash to spend here.

Me two. I was in team Vitor. Never convinced by Martinez, I did not think he had ability to do Moyes's job. Now we have moved on, we must get a better manager than Moyes.
