IMO, as I stated I think yesterday, Koeman is unlikely, but thats just my viewpoint.

There has been plenty of speculation, Southampton have been handing out new contracts left right and centre and not a word from him, he is and would be the most important new contract they could get tied up as he only has 12 months left, but nothing. What's the reason for that?

Koemen is gonna be the next Everton manager.

More pathetic efforts at sports journalism. Would imagine Ajax will fight tooth and nail to keep Overmars, it goes against the whole point of having a DoF having to replace someone in that role, as well as the head coach, within weeks of each other. I think Overmars is also on the board there, don't see it happening.

Agreed I read an article about Dennis Bergkamo recently & it touched on current Ajax model & the roles of the ex players. It stated overmars has a real talent at negotiating amongst other things & is very highly rated in his role

You would certainly think that De Boer is clearly not first preference, how long he is content to wait in the eventuality of Koeman turning us down is another matter.

Certainly clear that Koeman is the clubs first target (leaving the José smokescreen aside). In that sense, I hope we get the man the club thinks is best for the job.

Must admit to being a strong backer of Unai Emery though, hope there is something in that and we at least contact him, to sound out his interest.
