So...has JOSE officially finished flashing his knickers at us then? Or is he still keeping us peeping from afar, just in case the big UNITED floozy doesn't give out.

I like KOEMAN and wouldn't mind him at all, that said...De Boer seemingly remains keen, first to set his stall out and I quite like that.

Interesting week beckons then eh.

Whoever it is we have to get behind 'em even if it's not who we want.

A little gutted about Mouriho I'll be honest, even though it was never really on! Go for Koeman now I say. Not entirely sure what more de Boer offers, bar risk given he's unproven. Yes, Koeman isn't spectacular but given his performance at Soton, a safe pair of hands, and would potentially do wonders with money. Barring a choice completely from left field- Emery, Tuchel etc- then I'd be very happy with Koeman.

I think we need to take stock here Jose is not all that as a manager lately, Chelsea sacked him, he has made some shocking decisions in the transfer market, de brune lukaku, matic check etc he also lost the dressing room at Chelsea, Real Madrid couldn't wait to get rid.

Final point he does not play youth
Youth doesn't matter when you can afford to buy the finished product. He'd of been perfect for what we're trying to do now, which is win things.

Depends if its a realistic poll or a 'hope for' poll really.

Arguably he should be in both

Yes his 3% of the votes, mainly comprised of people who i have never seen posting on this site really suggests the should be int he poll mate

as for realisitic, is that because your insider information - but not ITK info as your kean to point out suggest he is on our list, despite the fact a poster who everyone respoects on this site has stated multiple times he hasn't been and won't be in contention?

Nice to see your carer has let you at the PC again for the evening btw :)

I honestly think Jose has shown great respect to his mentor LVG. He has let his gaffer have the end of the season to go out on a high.Think the deal was done after he left Chelsea. If that's the case(we will find out)....... then he has my full respect.

I love posts like these. I reckon I could be revisiting it in the future

We were holding on for Jose so now that option is no longer feasible then matters should start to speed up. Can't see past FdB myself.

I said we had a chance mate, not a very good chance. We still do although the weight of reporting about him going to United suggests that chance has diminished.

As I said on 9th May, Koeman is the most likely to be our next manager, nothing has changed to make me offer an alternative view.
We had the best chance if Utd did not want him because Mourinho stated he wanted to stay in the Prem.

Koeman was always my first choice prior to Mourinho being an option, if you look around the Prem he stands out above all others outside the top 5.

Fanastic 2nd half of the season, only 2nd to Leicester points wise, beat all the top 5 at some point this season, regarded by Soton fans as being better than Poch.

Proven in the Prem, he ticks all boxes for us, it's easy to see why he'd be top of the realistic list.
