I was just about to write very similar. Ranieri & Pochettino have shown everyone that with the right msnager anything is possible. None of us are educated enough from the professional point of you to really know who will succeed and who won't.

I still want Koeman, but there are 2 or 3 that could come in and potentially do well. At same point that's not a certainty,no one really is.

Koeman declared he will stay in Southampton, even if he don't extend his contract, he will still complete his contract and join Europa league next season, then he prefer to go to some leading clubs in Premier League or in Europe.

Keep your powder dry lids for if there's one thing Jose likes more than winning football matches it's popcorning. Witness his piece de resistance.

Would like to see us appoint a true director of football this week, and a manager in the following weeks. If we are going down the dof route then we need to take it seriously. Which means he needs to understand our club and its needs, as well as helping to identify the right manager and being involved in the interview process.

Mourinho, Guardiola, Conte, Wenger, Pochettino, dare I say Klopp. They can't all win the PL next season. Will be plenty of fans disappointed by the so-called holy grail by this time next year. Huge, huge pressure on them all.

I am reasonably certain that there will be a big improvement in our fortunes next season. That shouldn't be difficult. We can go about our business without the media adulation, and with less external expectation and pressure, much the same as we have done in our recent history.

Another 6 wins alone over a 38 game season on top of this one would probably see us in contention for EL. And, departures or not, we are better than that under the right manager.

Testing times ahead, yes, but certainly not just at Goodison Park.

Tell you what, could be an interesting season with 80% of the world's best managers in the Prem.

Shame 90% of the world's best players aren't in the Prem, like.

Indeed. Even Mourinho wouldn't have been a nailed on success.

Also, I doubt we will get a manager that 100% of the fan base is happy with.
We are into the realms af every manager we go for is a gamble

Nobody we are linked with is totally proven, so we have to gamble

If we have the suggested riches available this will heap pressure on any new manager, as that is the way with the new breed of supporters in the Prm

I hope whoever we get delivers, sadly across the Prem now expectation and reality are now poles apart

A new era, and possibly a bright era

The results for city at the start of the season were amazing then the rumours started getting worse and worse as the season progress and then pep was signed.

No wonder pellegrini was distracted and the players
Yep same thing happened Fergie at UTD. Said he was retiring and performances fell off a cliff. Pellegrini is the only choice (on the list) I'd be happy with the rest are meh.

Wenger also said ages ago that once pep was confirmed that pellegrini lost the power he had over the players.

He also a top coach who a fan of attacking football

Same thing happened here! I reckon the players knew RM was going and just downed tools. I'm looking forward to the next few years with MP.

He's absolute top quality, that's why Real and Man City signed him. Compared to "Nogginus Gigantus" and Frankly The Bore he's a much surer thing.
