Or 35 in the case of Martial.

A lot of us go to the footy for entertainment, I don't want an idiot coming in picking players like Fellaini and Phil Jones because they fit his style.

Had enough of that in the past.
The should have whacked on more. I'm not arguing for LVG. I can't stand his style either. He's too rigid although with Rooney in midfield and Rashford up front they have started looking a bit more attractive. Besides he will be retiring anyway.

I just think that it's nonsense that possession football doesn't work in the premiership. As good as Leicester are I bet the boffins will be hard at work countering their style. Football goes in cycles between teams that succeed playing possession football and teams that succeed playing counter attacking football and I suspect once the style of Leicester and even the likes of A Madrid have been analysed after this year you might see the pendulum swing back again.

Looks like it'll be De Boer if we're trying to get Overmars as DoF. Bringing Overmars in with De Boer would be sensible with his experience of English football.

I'd be disappointed if it ended up being de Boer.

Now that the Mourinho dream is over, Emery is the outstanding candidate for me.

Failing that, I'd be happy with Pellegrini, Koeman or Villas-Boas. Van Gaal would have been great a few years ago, but I expect he'll retire this summer.

Perhaps we should ask God to manage us.

Only he is deemed worthy perhaps? Everybody else is not good enough for the magnificent Everton.

Pienaar rates him.......

We're at stage 2 now, stage 3 will be entertaining...

Stage 1: Manager sacked, linked with a couple of decent replacements (Koeman, de Boer et al) - most people happy enough
Stage 2: Then linked with a really boss one (Jose), making all other alternatives seem badly disappointing
Stage 3: Heavily linked with someone utterly awful complete with quotes from agent and hotel/ airport sightings
Stage 4: Making the eventual appointment of Koeman a relief all-round

The end
