Me, I'm told that Koeman, Pellegrini and Emery are the three main preferred choices and talks will be held with each - talks have already been held with Pellegrini as has been reported and, in fact, they were held weeks ago. More talks to resume this week with the other two. De Boer is the option if somehow we fail to get any of those three, Moyes will only come back as an absolute last resort which is enormously unlikely (But, of course, this is Everton).

Sorry but they're wrong because moyes isn't even considered a last resort. Don't have to be itk for that lol

I'd prefer Emery over the rest. It shows the most ambition for the club IMO.

Side note though, Pellegrini odds have tumbled on paddy power in the last 10 mins. Now the favourite...

It would appear so.

But, its an ever changing landscape, whos to say Emery wont impress if spoken to?

From my understanding we are quite far down the road with both Koeman and Pellegrini, somebody is really gonna have to push it hard to break it up.

Expect an appointment in the next 7 days.
I would say Pellegrini would be favourite then at this stage. He's free and available, Koeman isn't. That could possibly swing it.

Agreed.

Hes free, it appears he wants the job and it would be an ideal appointment due to his age, its likely this will be his last job so it would allow us to build the club off the pitch with a man who knows how to build a team and win trophies whos head wont be turned if he does an outstanding job.

Security.

Hadnt thought of it in that way actually.

Makes a bundle of sense though.

I wouldn't be at all shocked if we were looking at Pellegrini for the Director of Football role, given his age and experience.
