anyone who cancels their season tickets over some faux outrage standpoint such as this needs to re-assess their whole approach to many things

Judging by the reaction to the news that Moyes is linked that's a heck of a lot of blues who need to asses many things ?

Or they don't share your sentiment of appointing a manager who failed to win ANYTHING in 10 years with the club? What evidence is there to claim anything would be different second time around? Really interested to hear your response........

Money for starters. Moyes spent £4m in total over 10 years and still managed to keep Evertonians happy in the main. it was miraculous really when you think about it

You mean anyone who utilizes their only power as a consumer to make a statement about a club's complete lack of ambition? Moyes isn't coming back, so it's irrelevant, but still, his appointment should absolutely be met with bed sheets and planes.

Has Moyes actually knocked back the Celtic job? It sounds like they preferred Rodgers. Yes he's backed out of Villa as he did last time as much due to the way they did transfers as anything else. I can understand him being wary of them. New owners, club in free fall, ineffective recruitment methods mean it's a very challenging job.

He may well want the Everton job and be willing to sacrifice big jobs to get a chance here. That's where we are as a club now and I am delighted we are getting back their, the elite of the game. However none of this make his our preferred applicant.
Moyes didn't fancy the total car crash that is Villa and I don't blame him, as there'll be massive expectation to return to the PL at the first time of asking, that if he failed to deliver would have smashed his reputation to pieces.

Sure he fancies the Everton job, why wouldn't he? It doesn't mean he's got any realistic chance of getting it.

He'll sit the summer out no doubt being a pundit at the Euro's and he'll await the first round of PL sackings next autumn imo.

My point being, anyone who has already bought a season ticket, would not throw away £500 down the drain.

@The Esk has already said there's no chance Moyes will be back. He's going to stop giving his insights soon enough if we just don't listen to what he says.

Of the main contenders, I'd prefer Emery. If not, then I'm happy with Pellegrini. He performed well at Villareal and Malaga without the wallet of Man City. Yes he's 'only' won the league once in the last 3 years, and people think this is under achieving with the money he's had but it's not as easy to buy the league anymore. The standard is much higher than it was. There's no longer a top 4, second tier top 2, bottom of the top, top of the bottom etc. It's more like a top 8, middle 10 and the bottom dwellers. And he's still beaten most of these most of the time to stay in top 4 with trophies and CL. To judge him on his looks and age is unfair also. He may have lost a bit of fire but he still knows what to do in the EPL and people also forget he's 2 years YOUNGER than Ranieri...

Anyway, back to what I was getting at. Of the top 4, I wont be gutted. I have preferences but they're quality managers. The only time I've really had more of a sick feeling than excitement was in the last hour or so since I've heard the name 'Steve Bruce' being thrown about by a few people who are supposed to be ITK... If @The Esk can ease my mind about anything, it's this... please... lol
