Why would you take Lukaku and Deulofeu out of the equation? He signed them. You can't just say he got lucky or that everyone knew, he pulled off the signings. Some of his early signings were stop gaps to cover first choice players if they were injured with the likes of McCarthy for the long term and other older players to teach. Then there are all the like of Stones and Galloway who came to the fore under Martinez and as for the youth players he put into the academy, well just have to wait and see how they turn out.

Martinez's problem was too much positivity and not knowing when to stfu, that and his stubbornness for constently attacking. He lived by his philosophy and died by it, fair play to him. That doesn't mean he wouldn't make a good director of football, he'd have done an excellent job of overseeing the academy and continued to mould it. If you look up director of football it doesn't have a strict definition anyway, seeing as how Martinez is very unlikely to get a PL job anytime soon I think we could have used his best attributes to our advantage at the very least.
Because apparently he asked for Demba Ba from Chelsea and was given Lukaku by Mourinho. Besides Lukaku scored 17 goals in his previous season so it's not like he was a risky signing.

If we hadn't of signed Lukaku and Barry on deadline day and both were last minute jobs we could have easily struggled even in his first season. Those last minute jobs are pure luck. Now you will notice I didn't put McCarthy into that bracket because with him I understand Martinez was just waiting for the sale of Fellaini to go through as is the way with Everton. His signings since then aren't anything to write home about.

Martinez should go to Spain and try and get a job for a mid table team there but that's not our problem any more.

But someone else won the league with his team, while he nearly went down.

Same team, different manager.

One won the league, one nearly dropped out of it.

If anything these are negatives.

Leicester's run of form certainly started before Ranieri's appointment. Even when they were at their lowest ebb, I was impressed by their performances and even more so by Pearson's total belief in his players.

I know I'm flogging a dead horse on here, championing him. Just my opinion and all that.

5 games, very few minutes, tries to hard, looks like a headless chicken and is written off. I remember Mccarthy being written off before he'd played a game for us and he had premier league experience, you'll have to forgive me if I don't write the guy off after so little time in the team and league. I think some people are mixing his poor start with their distain for Martinez tbh, that's not fair on Niasse. Give the guy some support, he might surprise you. If nothing else he's playing for Everton and deserves a fair crack of the whip.

If it looks like a headless chicken then it usually is a headless chicken. £13 million for that! we should be taking legal action against Martinez

If we find a dead King under a car park in Liverpool, then fine.

Until then, its a no from me.

It's your opinion mate, and that's fine.

I just don't think you're gonna get many people sharing it.

Can someone show me a picture of Emery holding a baby in an Everton kit and telling it that everything's going to be alright?

Cheers
