Fine words mate, and very true.

However, our stock is rising once more - the football industry know we are a sleeping giant. Moshiri is making waves and people are beginning to notice. Proof of course is always in actions not words and this will become self evident throughout the summer.

Exciting times.

Honestly, being here in the states.. I have to say the opposite. Bigger names going elsewhere. Word is that moyes has been interviewed. That doesn't sound like a sleeping giant.. I don't think the pocketbook is as deep as we all thought with the take over.

It just does look good with all these big names as the new manager and this list keeps getting smaller to the point that now Moyes's is in the sports page here.. With the take over and big pockets for spending you would think the names would be banging on the door, but they are not..either those names are staying pat or going to MANU..
To be honest... These aren't happy times.. This next manager is the one who could make or break us to the championship..
Or we get pelligrini who is trying to stay top flight for a few more years... I think he is a bad move.

If we were to announce Emery as our new manager that would be a massive statement of intent. That would make quite a few people sit up and take notice of us not least those of the red persuasion!

David Moyes WILL NOT be our next manager.

Please spread the word in the US mate that Moyes is not, and will not be considered for the manager's role. We're interviewing high quality candidates and the preferred candidates will meet the expectations of almost all blues.

I know you are an icon....... but filth utter filth lol lol lol

Just so you know mate, if it's my opinion I say it's my opinion. If it's information received from any of a number of sources then I pass on what I can.

I have said consistently since last Saturday I have no definitive idea of the timing of Martinez' departure. Yesterday at the match I was told it was definitely end of season, then 5 minutes later it could be Monday.

I've got to the point where it is actually not worth asking, it will happen when it happens. The main piece of news is that we will be recruiting a very high profile and quality manager way beyond the expectations of what the media think we can attract, and that person will have very significant sums to deal in the summer months.

Forget this season, it's been a complete write off. Just look forward to a very different future at Everton.

I have to ask, was this high profile manager Jose? Or does the Mosh have another trick up his sleeve?
Certainly hope Koeman isn't that "very high profile" manager.
