Ok. The No:1 target is Emery.

I'm not over the moon with that but clearly others are.

His reps have flown over today and the club hope to have a deal sorted by the beginning of next week.

You're my number one friend if this bet comes off and digs me out my self created betting hole

Anyone hear Tony Bellow(spelling) on TS this morn, asked if he wanted Moyes and he replied with, I want us to make a statement, i reckon the guys ITK, shot down Warnock as well when he dissed us saying Mourniho wouldnt come to us as he wants CL, yet Utd arnt in the CL, was funny.

Yesterday they had P Neville who wants Roberto back, he ment Moyes but said Roberto, as he feels hes the perfect fit.

Not to kill the mood. But this was reported yesterday. So what's changed in a day?

Unai Emery has ruled himself out of the running for the Everton job, according to Sevilla president Jose Castro.

The Spaniard, who has been linked with a move to Goodison Park, has won three successive Europa League trophies – his latest coming against Liverpool in Basel last week.

But according to Castro, Emery has told him he is ‘not on the market’ this summer.

“The coach has understood our idiosyncrasies perfectly,” he told Sevilla TV.

“He is crazy about football, the hours he puts it, how he manages the squad. I say that now after being successful, but also at the start of the season.

“I can tell you he has said he is not on the market, and is not thinking about anything else.”

The Blues will continue to search for their new manager, with Ronald Koeman, Frank de Boer and David Moyes amongst the candidates.

Koeman has publicly said he wants to stay at Southampton, while former Ajax boss de Boer is keen on the move.

Moyes has been interviewed for the position as Fahrad Moshiri seeks the man to lead his new era on Merseyside.
Who do you think you are? coming here posting FACTS

Just been reading through overnight/morning updates, surely it points to Emery now?

I would not pay much attention to reports saying he is not in the race, things like that will always be denied until an agreement is reached.

What a coup it would be, beyond all my 'realistic' expectations.
