Need to calm down everyone with all the Emery hysteria. With rumours Real Madrid and Milan are also interested in talking with him, we need to keep grounded and look at other options we may need to speak with.

He has rejected Milan according to Sevilla ITKs.

To be honest if Emery falls through my optimism for the next season will take a bit of a dip. After all the optimism about attracting a big name we've had two managers and top targets turn us down already. Sure José was a potshot, but Koeman?

Hopefully we can get Emery because though I like Pellegrini for example, I don't see any statement-making contenders left.

Feel exactly the same. Pellegrini would be an improvement on Martinez for sure, but Emery would bring us some real fire and hope again. Not only that, but being rejected by three different managers would give me the feeling that we're not as attractive a proposition as I hoped we'd be.
