Can you imagine Liverpool, United, Arsenal, City, Chelsea doing that ? We need to wake up and realise who we are. One of the most successful teams in English football ffs !
I wonder how many of the S**** put forward Jammie C or RObbie F for their managers job ?

Let Unsworth keep developing players in our youth academy. He's doing a damn fine job at that by the looks of it. Unsy has time on his side, maybe one day he'll be the Everton manager, don't think that time is right now though.
I agree but also I would get him involved with the 1st team as well.

Look at how Moyes and Martinez were treated by the fans for being seen as small time. And I'm not saying they didn't deserve that treatment btw but I can just see after a few dodgy results fans saying we lack ambition and calling for Unsworths removal. He's a good man and doesn't need to face that volley of abuse. Bring in an experienced name.

You would expect if simone or emry came in both would sign predominately south american or spanish players anyway.

We've got history on this - we screwed up over replacing Catterick back in 1973 - took months and ended up with Billy Bingham (i.e. WHO?) and then Gordon Lee (after Bingham) after the likes of Jimmy Armfield, Revie, Robson, Clough etc didn't come.

Bingham, Lee, Smith and ESPECIALLY Walker - all nowhere near good enough for a club of our stature.

I'm saying for the future if unsworth gets involved in the 1st team he will know a bit more about it,some experience at handling the type of footballer that we have such as millionaire prima donnas.it will help him and us.

Like Stubbs I think he's good enough to manage a club of his own
