How is it wrong? Pretty much what happened as I recall.
When Kendall came back for the third time the club was in an absolute mess. I don't think some people don't realise how bad it was. His budget extended to John Oster and Gareth Farrelly , an Aton Villa reserve. Our best player all season by some considerable distance was a 17 year old John Stones. I still don't know how HK kept us up.

John Stones was about 3 mate.

If we can not get Emery or Koeman ( which i doubt we can ) I truly believe Unsworth would be the best man for the job , His passion for the club and knowledge or Everton is a Major + although he does lack experience and player pulling power . I still think he would do fantastic if given the opportunity in the big boys league. Some may say that it would like ambition from Everton , I ask you to say this to David Unsworth and see what answer you get ;-)
If we can't get our main targets, I wouldn't be against Rhino, but I would like to see some big name appointed as a Director of Football. I'd want Unsworth to take care of things on the field only as he is totally unproven at dealing on the transfer market.

Rather have him than Moyes deffo.

If i was unsworth id apply for jobs in championship, scottish premiership or even League one, he'd leave on good terms and would probably come back in and sign the youngsters he knows on loan and continue to help there development. Or he will end up like Giggs and shearer. I remember shearer turning down jobs in the championship the arrogant so and so. . . If unsie has ambition to be a manager nows the best time for him to go. It would be a loss to the club but he owes us nothing in truth....

Like I said mate, you only have to look at the vitriol that Martinez faced at the end to gauge the mood of the fans. Can just see what would happen to him on the back of a bad run of results and it frightens me tbh. Having said that who can blame the fans when Moyes and Martinez were tolerated for far too long.

Stones was born in '94 wasn't he? Kendall mk 3 was '97 wasn't it?

Maths.
first thing comes to my mind for me about his third time was that really light blue kit with the 3 foot by 2 foot one to one stripe thing across it, as modeled by the Rugardly awful Mick Madar..that was 98.
