I know it's a long shot and they have only lost friendlies but what about the German manager? Could be an outside chance and it wouldn't be a bad manager to sign would it? What's everyone's thoughts?

Threads like these reveal that there basically 8 kinds of people on the forum. Read every single post and they'll fit into one of these categories:

1. Old school forum heads - They know who is ITK and who is bluffing. They have seen this all before and contribute regularly with either relevant information, gallows humour or off-topic nonsense.

2. The "ITK" - contributing every 100 pages or so with a flurry of exciting titbits which then generate huge chatter, questions and either thanks or derision. Usually bull, occasionally on the money.

3. The CBA - someone who knows something interesting has occurred on the thread but can't be arsed to read any of the 34000 pages to find where it is. Check their post history, they'll have about 6 posts ever, all of them saying things like, "Just back from holiday*. Anyone update me what's happened? Cheers lads".

*they haven't.

4. The witty joker - Contributing sparsely with a joke which has normally been exhausted around 4,786 pages ago. Things like, "Bills probably too busy trying to locate the Arteta money to look for a manager. Am I right??! Lolololol"

5. The doom merchant - it doesn't matter what the situation is or how long it's been going on, but they're worried. Really worried. Whatever is going on, it's bad and we're getting relegated.

6. The football hipster - again, regardless of the topic, they'll be able to write 7 paragraphs about it and include an expert opinion based on something someone did in German 2ND division.

7. The opposition fan - they come on peace and start of by saying something nice about Everton before being really condescending.

8. People who make lists for no apparent reason.

...if there's nowt concrete by the end of this week I'll start to get a bit concerned like.

I'm not at the moment and the silence is good, means it's all goin on behind the curtain.

Doesn't it...Doesn't it ASH...PLEeeeaaaaasee say it does.......

Haha I didn't expect anything to be done straight after the season like, happy myself for the club to take its time.

What concerns me, perhaps just idle worry is thst the club never planned to sack Martinez until they had no choice. Hence the slow movement of business ad they didn't have a clue to begin with. Comparing to other clubs who knew who to get and got them pretty swiftly.

Thst could be just wild conspiracy theories though haha

I agree that in reality they fired Martinez due to fan pressure. And very little else. Which is good in a way as it shows fans can make a difference
