I'm definitely not in York...

IP is a very good indicator of country, but no certainly. There are exceptions. Proxy/Mobile etc, I won't bore you all, but in short, we don't store your exact location - don't sue us FFS.

How utterly sad that you feel the need to do that.

You can't pin point anyone from an ip you can get a fix it'll never ever show you were someone lives, it'll show you the town or region they are posting from but not the exact location. Proxies leak so are never always reliable and they slow the board up something rotten. But in short you would never be able to pinpoint a poster from their ip addy
