If Sevilla accept his resignation then they get no compensation for him. This way, he has to stay (temporarily) and another club who wants him has to pay the 5m€ release clause.

IP is a very good indicator of country, but no certainly. There are exceptions. ;) Proxy/Mobile etc, I won't bore you all, but in short, we don't store your exact location - don't sue us FFS.
