I agree Esk old son, it must be the case no matter how unnerving it can be for the fans. My concern is the potential throttling of blue tradition if this new potential structure goes through it could involve the loss of jobs with the likes of Rhino, Dunc and Sheeds being replaced by Spanish imports. The director of football title has had many notable failures, it appears to add an extra structure helping to distance the owner from day to day involvement creating a remote unapproachable figure making the ultimate decisions. If such an individual is needed Joe could easily do the job and help protect our traditions for the future.

Whilst we may enjoy the coming years storm cones should remain as so many slips and snags exist including on field failure bring Moshiri to the point of pulling out like Warner has at Villa
It'll be 30 years since we won the title next year. Maybe a change is necessary?
If we do a Leicester then disregard the above.

He is no messiah. He is however a good manager and with funds to support that he could make us compete in a couple of years for 4th.
My concern this season is retention of our players.... Any idea how he is with promoting youth into his squads?

Still not believing people on here going overboard on a manager whose record take away the Europa cups is

Miguel Muñoz Trophy (Segunda División): 2005–06, 2006–07
2009-10 Valencia 3rd
2010-11 Valencia 3rd
2012 Spartak Moscow sacked for poor results
2013-14 Sevilla 5th
2014-15 Sevilla 5th
2015-16 Sevilla 7th

He's won the Spanish second division twice, big deal!?!?

I thought we were aiming high?

have you seen the state of Valencia since he left?

And you can't pick and choose what parts of his cv you include. 3 Europa leagues on the bounce is pretty fking good considering how many games it takes to win and the impact it has on a sides domestic campaign.
