To further my point - Slaven Bilic was a complete flop in Russia.
Also Michael Laudrup and Juande Ramos - managers who've enjoyed relative success elsewhere but completely tanked in Russia.

I'm gobsmacked that some of our fans don't rate Emery.
He the best we could get right now and a massive upgrade on our last two managers

No one ever won the uefa cup three times on the run, plus he only 44 and is one of the exciting managers around. His win rate in Russia is better them Moyes for us and Martinez. The Russia is not as bad as people are making out.

This manager got a very high ceiling and is a massive coup if we pull this deal off.
