I've turned on this morning and the place seemed to be exploding about Koeman! Has something happened or likely to happen in this respect? Or are we still going with Emery. Quick update on the situation would be appreciated, ta very much.

Emery is still the front runner by a huge margin. Koeman is being reported to come only in a blag rag that's banned from here.

It's one week today since the Emery stories really started to develop and the news outlets all suggesting Monchi is about to leave Sevilla, this could be a really top couple of days, fingers, toes and everything else crossed!

Eyes all suggesting Monchi is about to leave Sevilla, this could be a really top couple of days, fingers, toes and everything else crossed!

Only a hunch, but if we were to get monchi then I'd think emery would be our preferred target. Makes sense really, worked so successfully together. If it overmars as DOF I'd think it would be koeman. But like many others here I am only guessing.

Why has it not been announced yet?

If it was just a manager we were after I imagine it would have been, one way or another, but as we're after a DoF as well there's more parties to converse with and keep happy.

I imagine there will be a double announcement when both pieces are in play. If just one of them decides to try and make a last minute attempt for more money/assurances then it delays everything.

I do just want it be done and dusted now so I sympathise with you.

been the most backed went from 7/1 to like evens in places probably doesnt mean loads as loads have but hats probably why also he hasnt accepted the saints yet
