This thread will come to a close soon . It's been fun ... Just wondered if a new transfer thread will be started from the opening of the transfer window ? ???????

I think Koeman is still priority, risky game Moshiri is playing

Mad on here like.

Self confessed WUM makes wild suggestion of Moyes involved in some way at club, DOF maybe.

Same WUM, several posts later confirms his WUM status.

People then get wound up, discussion turns to Moyes. Some even argue which bits he would be good at and why it's not such a bad fit.

I can't wait till many of our fans realise that we are a different prospect now. We are not 'same old Everton' anymore. If we don't believe it, then who will.

What a difference 10 days make...

We were having to sell the 'project' hard to desired managers and now they are having to sell themselves to us.

How refreshing.

Clearly the powers-that-be have done an outstanding job.

Should be pretty much finalised this week and there should be a very clear indication who that will be by the end of the day.

MOLEBOMB

Please Emery y Monchi and no Koeman.

Only Everton could drag out something as simple as getting a new manager in.

Awful from the board, you all thought it would change when Farhad Lerner came in but it's quite visible now that there is no change, just a new muppet.

Wake up people, forget the big names, forget the ambitions, the club is in decline and so it's blatantly obvious what we need, we need a manager now who can keep us up and steady the ship.

Welcome Sam Allardyce.

Makes you wonder why not, though. After all, if a manager wants to move clubs it's usually pretty straight forward. Even Rotherham manage it......

Think it will be much much more complicated if we're getting Monchi and Emery together..

Seville will want compensating for both and I'm sure they will have to put things in place in regards to Monchi's shortlist of players and targets. They may have to strike a deal which means we cannot sign or bid for player's they intended to bring to Seville this summer (Praaet springs to mind)
