On another note, why would Moshiri entrust Jorge Mendes in landing Emery for us if we just go ahead and get Ronald McDonald, only thing i can think of is that Moshiri has either played a blinder and used Emery to put pressure on Ronald/ his agent or Koeman is using the opportunity to get more wages at Southhampton and putting pressure on Emery to decide.

But

If I was backing something at, oh I don't know, 15/1 and could write / link several articles that pushed that price down significantly, to the point I could then lay it off and back something else to green my book (profit on both outcomes), I'm not massively certain I would admit it on social media.

ill be honest I have £290 back on him so I hope he comes for that reason doesn't make him the best candidate for the job tho

Not convinced with Koeman, haven't been since the initial links. Very uninspiring managerial appoint if reports are true - mind I appreciate our hands may be tied if Emery has said no.

I'm not a big fan of Koeman but even if I was, the way he's conducted himself would be a big no from me. If Emery decides not to come I'd be looking at De Boer and tell Koeman to do one.

Mate it's what any person would do.

He's in no rush to leave Southampton, so if he was gonna go he might as well get some serious wedge.

I'm proper 50/50. Pros and cons to both and if it's one of the two, I'll be extremely happy.
