In all seriousness I think a lot is still up in the air.

We should have more info later. I think if this is done (e.g. if Emery has actually turned our offer down and Koeman is desperate to sign) we'll know about it soon.

If it drags on then there may be other factors in the works...

With Moshiri at the helm I'm not too bothered as a failing Koeman can be removed within 12 months if we have a mid table finish. None of this knife to gunfight what a manager routine any more.

I had Koeman down as an original replacement for Moyes, so I'm happy with his appointment.

Overmars or Monchi as a DoF would be icing on the cake though.

Emery has turned down our contract offer.

Koeman has told Southampton he wants to leave for Everton.

This should now be over very quickly.

Any news on why? Or alternatively what impact in may have on Monchi?

Until Esk says Emery is out of the frame, I'm going to choose to believe that Emery is still in the frame.

If he rejects us then he's not got the stones to take on a project in England.
