There will be dozens of people doing this which will massively affect the odds. The bookies don't know anything, don't use their odds as a guide to what might happen.
Agreed, but at least now I'm covered for both outcomes. Still in profit with Emery and break even with Ronald. It's crazy how fast the bets change the odds, as soon as Emery went up as high as 8's, people starting throwing tenners on with it being a good price, causing it to drop again

If Koeman specifically has his eyes on the Barca/Arsenal job then how can we build knowing he's ready to jump as soon as one of them comes up. Plus the fact that he already appears to only stay at a club 2-3 years is worrying - we could possibly be in the position Southampton are now.
Tbh I view him as what Hughes/Mancini were to city. A holding job until the clubs status at the top of the game is solidified. Bin him after 2 seasons

im sure if we land him on a 3 or 4 year contract we will have a sunstantial buy out clause. if we know barca and arsenal maybe interetsed i would put it at £20 mill... at least that way if we were to lose him it softens the blow.

I'm not gonna slate Mole.

However, I'm also not gonna jump straight on what he's saying as gospel.

Esk has bene the one all along, and though he did back Mole up, his word will be the one to go by.

Apart from a little bet, it doesn't matter to me either way. Extremely happy with either.

Without trying to discredit anyone I am not sure it's cut and dried yet. Mole and other ITK will be told snippets but very little if fixed.

It looks like we are meeting Koeman today and the impression may be Emery is off. Just as talking to Emery brought Koeman back the same process could work in reverse.

What's clear is having met Emery nothing has been agreed. Meeting Koeman may be to finalise everything or alternatively it may be to pressure Emery to make his mind up.

I hope we get Emery and would be disappointed with Koeman initially but if it were him it would soon wear off.

Yeah you're definitely doing the right thing covering yourself with another bet. I was aiming the comment towards people who seem to be saying "the odds have dropped, must be Koeman now". Bookies are just managing their exposure as everyone lumps on by dropping the odds, which drives the market even wilder.

Emery has turned down our contract offer.

Koeman has told Southampton he wants to leave for Everton.

This should now be over very quickly.
