The odds on skybet suggest the mole has called it correctly. (I think skybet is more reliable than the others due to sky's closeness to the industry).
Barring a snag in finalising the deal it's Koeman. If so, I just won over £200. Would have much preferred Emmery/Monchi but Koeman is still a coup for Moshiri as he's landed his original top target.

If its Koeman it shows ambition, but very limited ambition. If its Emery it shows naked pure unadulterated ambition, a bit scary. I cannot imagine any of the potentially departing starlets would be encouraged to stay be a Koeman appointment. He just doesn't seem like an Everton manager to me either.

Echoing what many others have said- Koeman (barring Mourinho) was my first choice until Emery came into the frame. Also, incredibly, know a few Southampton fans who have said we've got no chance of getting him, so for that, it will be phenomenally enjoyable. Would feel a bit of a let down given the prospect of Emery, but I also get a feeling it's a bit of a rouse to get him to accept the offer. Who knows? Either way, certainly feels as though we're entering the final bouts and a decision is IMMINENT. Thankfully! lol

Tbh I view him as what Hughes/Mancini were to city. A holding job until the clubs status at the top of the game is solidified. Bin him after 2 seasons

This is about the best statement you can make on it. The only caveat I'd add is that he has won trophies abroad which Hughes hadn't. In both instances they left quite well placed but ultimately smaller-poorer clubs.
