Can someone please inform me because I must be ignorant.

We are accepting Southampton's mediocrity because Koeman has had to deal with negative net spend throughout his tenure? But we won't accept Moyes back even though he had Bill as his financier because we are more ambitious?

What are you on about?

no chance, if we sold a big player, lescott for example moyes got to spunk it all on whoever he wanted. koeman never had that luxury ie sell lovren for 20+m, get van dijk in for 11m.
Have to disagree with you there, no way moyes got all the sales generated money... no way.... He brought in mostly lower priced replacements and a lot of the money went into servicing debt

We won't accept Moyes back cos he's an utter weapon mate.

He's also been proved to be not that great at being a football manager, being sacked twice since he left with no trophies, and once at a club with lots and lots of money - more than Moshiri.

Since it became a remote possibility. Known of monchi. Never thought he'd leave Seville. Been on the Emery bandwagon from the start though. First two choices were Emery or Favre. Never been impressed by koemen. This isn't the Netherlands.

Fair enough. I still think whoever comes out of Emery/Koeman both have an element of risk and each of them deserve a fair crack of the whip, since regardless of what we think we've gleaned from their record on their wikipedia page, we don't know how they'll do at Everton.
