He's a decent manager by all accounts but, for me, he'll take us back to where we were under Moyes i.e 5th-7th as that's his level imo. He's the safe choice but a sidewards step.

If only 5th-7th, I would prefer Moyes instead of Koeman

Koeman's agent leaked that the Saints were offering 2.5 million and EFC would have to offer 6. Seems like 5 million per year is on the table for Koeman. No wonder he's talking.

The clowns in charge can't even work out what 2 x 2.5 is and have offered 6? Here's to progress...

Haven't seen this but if true, stinks of pushing Southampton for a new deal/funds.

Few on their forum suggest his time might be up though, club looking to move in a new direction according to, what I can gather, is their ITK. Someone named Guan.

Wonder how long they are going to give emery to make up his mind? Koeman was approached over a week ago and now he's back in the country, he's evidently had a change of mind. I just hope monchi becomes our DOF but I'd think it would be a better working relationship with emery obviously, I'd think koeman would prefer overmars as DOF.
