The way I see it. An offer has been made to emery. They have had a meeting with koeman's people who requested it who then leaked the meet. That won't go down well for a start, given the new levels of secrecy that seem to abound re all things moshni and is really no surprise given its a win, win for Koeman, I.e saints increase their offer for fear of competition.

Interestingly and perhaps more significant than the Koeman, manipulated leak, the mainstream Spanish press report Monchi as a done deal to Everton. I think it's fair to assume that he wouldn't take a gamble working with a complete unknown when his mate has been offered the job.

In my mind Koeman's record is concerning. He has been successful at much less than 50% of the teams he has managed. He is a major gamble should we go with him.

In short I can't see it being Koeman, the bookies are merely reacting to their first leaked story, leaked by those with Ronald Koeman's financial best interests at heart.

...care to elaborate please?

I hate Mole's cloak and dagger comments, they're harder to decipher than the Da Vinci Code.

Just tell us what you know (if anything)!!

If it's koeman then I will be a tad bit underwhelmed by it considering all the emery talk but I'm happy with him. Originally went for him in the opinion polls as a sensible choice so happy to get behind him if it ends up being the Dutch man.

Just would have been nice to get emery after all the build up.

There is literally no reason to post such a vague comment other than to wind people up. Just insane

Mate, he is on a wind up, he signed up about ten days ago, and recycles a combination of what the Esk says and what's in the press. He is now hinting at Koeman getting the job: everyone knows that it is going to happen now, we aren't even linked with other managers, bookies have him at massive odds on, yet people still hang on to every word from him, he has done well to be fair, he has a good touch for a mole.

Better touch than Lukaku.
