Supposedly Southampton will try to replace Koeman with Emery if he comes to us. Was on SSN.

My saints itk has said they have formally withdrew the new contract offered to koeman. Just throwing that in the mix.

In all seriousness though, I just think Emery has had an offer that was better than ours. Without trying to sound snobbish, it would be a great opportunity for him (to join us) if he wanted to come to the Prem.

So either he's happy with Sevilla (perfectly reasonable), or sees Milan/PSG as better options (again, reasonable).

Using that logic, and the logic that we've supposedly made Koeman an offer that Sotton can't match, I can't see Sotton being able to match Emery's demands, but they're certainly in a good position to attract a replacement.

Good squad, European football, a few decent young players and a good academy and a good set-up throughout the club.

Personally think FDB may be one of their first targets - if this deal with Koeman does go through like.

Yeh wouldn't imagine everything to be done all at once.

Think DoF may even drag on towards/into the start of the Euros.

Priority still has to be to get a manager in place before the start of the tournament. The rest can follow.

Not sure where the caller got that from (did not hear the call) but Moshiri has the first option to acquire the rest of BK's shares (as well as Woods and Abercromby)
