You are taking arbitrary points in your history. I could easily say since 2005 you've spent more than 50% of your time in the lower leagues, including the third tier.

Instead, I won't be arbitrary. Let's look at your entire history.

In over 130 years since your formation you only have 40 seasons of top flight football.

I agree you've earned your right to be in the top division, that's the nature of competitive football, but you just aren't on the same level.

Plucky though, to rise so quickly in recent years from the third tier to European football. Enjoy it while it lasts.

The point I was trying to make (and failed ) was we're hardly a yo-yo Club as was called and belonged in the lower Leagues. In 130 years about 7 relegations. I don't think that's yo-yo and we are where we belong. How long that will be nobody knows but then again that could be said about every Club (ask Leeds, Forrest, Wolves and some others)!

Ronald Koeman itself agreement with Everton

Everton thinks Ronald Koeman this weekend to present definitive as new manager. The 53-year-old former international and Everton there are now, but the club from Liverpool has yet to surrender the contract continuing until mid-2017 at Southampton.

That club is not to jump to the trainer and finished sixth and seventh to go in the Premier League. Southampton even had long been hopeful that Koeman would renew his contract prematurely. That's no question of that, has become clear in southern England. British-Iranian owner of Everton, Farhad Moshiri, and chairman Bill Kenwright will need to submit the appropriate lump sum payment on the table for their new manager. Everton are in a hurry, because the club will start as soon as possible with the renovation of the selection last season as disappoint. The club expects that the internationals Romelu Lukaku (Belgium) and Johnstone (England) can still be sold for a lot of money. Koeman may use the proceeds to strengthen Everton in all lines. Hagenaar Rob Jansen, recently the manager of Koeman, yesterday spoke again at length with the leadership of Everton. Of course there was also discussed that the coach his brother Erwin would like to bring to Everton.

I'm a saints fan, from everything thats been said and from our own ITK, seems like Koeman is on his way to you guys. I'm sad to see him go, he did us a very good turn, and really helped the club in a hard time for us.

Disappointed to see him go, but I have faith that we will find a good manager to succeed him, and that our club is in safe hands. Slightly suprised to see him go to you guys, your definitely the bigger club, but after two years of hard work with us and another crack at Europa this season, it's slightly surprising he would give that up, for rebuilding a struggling team (even with the promise of huge investment.)

A question to you Everton fans, with City, United, Wet Spam, Chelski and you lot all planning on big overhauls of your squads and spending X hundred million, do you think A) there are enough good players out there, for all these big clubs? B) By saying you have 150 million to spend aren't you opening yourselves up to overpaying massively on players, as clubs know you have cash to burn?
Welcome to the forum. Certainly think that's a risk. Keep thinking of how LFC spunked the Suarez money and Spurs the money they got from Bale.

Dont get the koeman positivity.

Hes took a team to 8th and 7th, woopdiefingdooo, got dicked in every cup every year.

Baffled here, honestly 100% baffled.

You'd rather Moyes swagger back in talking in the 3rd person about how 150 million spend will make it difficult to take plucky little Everton to the top?
