Welcome to the forum. Certainly think that's a risk. Keep thinking of how LFC spunked the Suarez money and Spurs the money they got from Bale.

To be fair Spurs got it wrong in terms of who they brought in not what they had to spend. They were cute in making sure Bale's transfer went to the wire so they could get their targets normal price and not get charged more because they didn't yet have the Bale money.

Liverpool weren't so cute.

The point I was trying to make (and failed ) was we're hardly a yo-yo Club as was called and belonged in the lower Leagues. In 130 years about 7 relegations. I don't think that's yo-yo and we are where we belong. How long that will be nobody knows but then again that could be said about every Club (ask Leeds, Forrest, Wolves and some others)!

We have been relegated less than twice. Just mind you.

Dont get the koeman positivity.

Hes took a team to 8th and 7th, woopdiefingdooo, got dicked in every cup every year.

Baffled here, honestly 100% baffled.
....a thought dis-process with which you are not totally unacquainted.
I'm running with Moshiri on this one...

I'm a saints fan, from everything thats been said and from our own ITK, seems like Koeman is on his way to you guys. I'm sad to see him go, he did us a very good turn, and really helped the club in a hard time for us.

Disappointed to see him go, but I have faith that we will find a good manager to succeed him, and that our club is in safe hands. Slightly suprised to see him go to you guys, your definitely the bigger club, but after two years of hard work with us and another crack at Europa this season, it's slightly surprising he would give that up, for rebuilding a struggling team (even with the promise of huge investment.)

A question to you Everton fans, with City, United, Wet Spam, Chelski and you lot all planning on big overhauls of your squads and spending X hundred million, do you think A) there are enough good players out there, for all these big clubs? B) By saying you have 150 million to spend aren't you opening yourselves up to overpaying massively on players, as clubs know you have cash to burn?
Welcome mate. Have no idea if this is going to happen - hard to distinguish between the real news and the incredible amount of hot air that's been expended here by people who mostly know no more than me. If he comes, I'll back him. I will also hope that Soton get another manager that helps you to continue to grow and prosper. For me, a more competitive league means a more interesting one. I've been bored rigic by the last 10 years of the same five clubs (was 4) having a realistic chance. Leicester have given me hope that that period might be over - could well have been Soton.
Good luck next season except when you play us.....
