One of the Southampton fans on here said he's the worst player in their squad. They don't seem to rate him and they watch him every week.

Sod getting any of their players, won't be worth value for money. I'm sure there's enough bargains to be had from other clubs in Holland if he must shop there, Janssen and Ziyech perhaps.

I don't think any normal football fan would argue about the different size and history of our two Clubs but, you can't argue the last 3 or 4 years our two clubs have been traveling in 2 different directions. And as I've said before history itself doesn't guarantee future success!

In 2014 we finished with a points total that Southampton will probably never, ever come near. We have since sacked the manager as two seasons of massively underperforming and finishing 11th just isn't good enough for us.

You've finished 7th then 6th. I accept that this is as good as it has ever been for Southampton but there hasn't been some power shift. You're not catching us up in any meaningful way.

The bigger clubs will always take the best you have to offer and Everton will always be bigger than Southampton. Success is always more likely when you have a greater standing in the game, more fans and more money.

I actually don't wish you ill in the slightest and think you're a decent and non offensive club. I hope to see you continue to do well.

The DOF search seems to have gone a bit cold. I'm guessing and hoping that is because we are channelling all our efforts into securing koeman. Maybe @The Esk can shed some light on this
