Unfortunately if that was the man then we had to get him. Maybe not the polite Everton of recent times but that is a good sign. School of arrogance.I've lost a lot of respect for Everton going after an employed man.

As far as I know got to the quarter final with benfica. Loosing to eventual winners Barcelona but beating the holders RSGood job we're not in Europe next season then!
The sad thing is........... that first season........ we were all buzzing off him.......... he had us all on a high........ I think we all genuinely believed .... the ' I'll get you Champions League football' quote.Yes sadly by us and boy are we counting the cost of it!!!

Our problems on that front ..... started... the minute Steve Tashjian went back to the states.Proper random like but what was Southampton's injury record like last two seasons? We had A LOT of dumbass soft tissue injuries under a manager with a physio degree that needs addressing in training next year
i was joking tbh mate, but cheers for the info. I've been fully behind RK from the start - but would have been equally as happy with Emery, mind.
Probably better than most, but had some really nasty long term injuries too Jrod, Forster and Gardos!Proper random like but what was Southampton's injury record like last two seasons? Your spot on. We have had a time with injuries and repeated problems. Bring Tashjian back from the Columbus Crew.Take Pienaar for example....
A permanent transfer was agreed in July 2012, with Everton paying Tottenham a fee of £4.5 million.[20] On 25 August 2012, he scored his first goal since signing permanently, opening the scoring in a 1–3 away win against Aston Villa.[21] On 9 December, Pienaar scored a powerful header against former club Tottenham, Everton's 1,000th goal in the Premier League, as they came from a goal down to win 2–1 at Goodison.[22] Pienaar was sent off for two bookable offences twice during the season, against Queens Park Rangers and Manchester City. Everton drew 1–1 against QPR and beat City 2–0.[23][24] Pienaar finished the season with seven goals, the joint-most he has ever scored in a season with Everton. In October 2013, Pienaar returned from a hamstring injury suffered two months earlier as he came on as a substitute against Hull City and scored the winning goal just ten seconds later.[25][26] Despite Everton finishing the 2013–14 season fifth with a club record of 72 Premier League points, it was one to forget personally for Pienaar—he struggled with injuries for large parts of it and only scored one goal and made two assists in the matches he did feature in.[27]
Never seen the real Pienaar since Tashjian left.
