Perhaps they sell the watery vomit to several addicts, as opposed to just one. Still seems odd to me.

Mrs R is involved in the prescription of these scripts, and has never mentioned that. Plus, most have to drink it in a chemist, and hang around a while after.

Not much of a leap from what is reported in the bbc article. The person who told me about this is (unsurprisingly) a Glaswegian. I've no reason to doubt him; he's seen people selling it.

I was similarly stunned.

It actually came up whilst we were talking about deprivation in Liverpool and Glasgow. If that's going on, I think they might be 'winning' that particular element of the comparison between the two cities.

Neither are even close to Birkenhead though.
