Not sure if it's been posted before. The state of John Motson.

It puzzles me how all of a sudden finishing sixth matters when for years we were there or thereabouts and we got no credit for it. We'd finish above spurs year on year but they'd get talked up. Now Southampton finished there it's an achievement. It'll be seen as a failure again if we do it next season you watch.

And there are people who know what's going on. Just because you don't, doesn't mean the new owner is doing nothing.

Mr Moshiri has met with Emery and Monchi. 100% fact. But they are going for Koeman for whatever reason now instead of Emery. These aren't easy decisions to make. Rushed decisions can be made poorly. I'm sure we all want the best candidate to be chosen.

Not trying to start anything here with you but if it is 100% fact that we have met with these 2 then what happened? Has Emery turned us down? Are we getting Monchi as the Seville fans think there isn't a chance in hell of that happening.
