The jarg-o-meter would be going off the scale. Supposedly some lad and Koeman today at JLA. Considering it was a scorcher today there seems to be an awful lot of sweaters and coats in the background. Probably like the other photo that was doing the rounds over the weekend - was from a few years ago. :coffee:
 
I hope we don't target their players, Southampton have a good little side but would hope we don't make the Kone mistake again and waste money on ex players.

Saying that though the 2 i wouldn't say no to are Forster as a direct replacement for Howard and Bertrand in if Baines can't find his form of previous years, Bertrand matched the same kind of attacking threat as Baines and had the most crosses in the league for a defender this season i think and is usually solid defensively as well.

What about Twitter followers?!?!

The Sky Sports News Everton v Southampton comparison was much more relevant to today and modern football.

Danny Murphy and John Motson etc they know what they talking about.

Sod the media they will never like us.

But these facts show what we have achieved and that we are a massive club,

Bring on the new era led by Koeman, Just stop being so Everton, Everton and get the deal completed/confirmed so we can get on with player recruitment .
 
Tell you what's been annoying about all these knobhead Southampton fans telling us we are a nothing club who haven't won anything for decades - if we'd booted Roberto after the Anfield debacle, we'd be sat with the FA Cup by now.

Not sure 'Mottie' likes us. Remember seeing footage of a MOTD (when Jimmy Hill was the presenter) interview he did with Howard Kendall after a match against WHU(I think?). He was properly having a go because we didn't play the ball forward from the kick off! Not sure he got what he wanted as long ball footie was in vogue for a while after but, we reigned supreme with our beautiful football!
 
Just seen the photo of Koeman & that lad, that's Amsterdam Airport, Galaxy Bar, you can see part of logo to the right of Koeman's head. Good Pint of Heineken though.
