Absolutely nothing wrong with any of that - and it backs up the point - for all Southampton fans bang on about their academy (which is great, yes - but ours isn't exactly bad), that this current crop just hasn't got the 'star' players that the likes of Bale, Walcott and Chamberlain were.

Ward-Prowse is a good player, but isn't a superstar. Reed is tidy and Targett has a lot of potential. But that's really the only three that spring to mind.

That is what i mean mate, he doesn't say everything through rose tinted glasses, he is honest id like that ward-prowse but could imagine in the current climate him being massively overpriced, hopefully he is the same with us spots the players who are ready take them and leave the others to see if they develop

And once again the ' itk's ; ' go missing.

Not a good sign when it is allowed to drag on and Koeman linked with Lazio, although I doubt he'd have the audacity to reject mohsiri's big money.

It's likely to be today. I say likely because the board of Southampton seem to have difficulties in facing reality and instead of getting on with finding a replacement they've dragged things out with spurious negotiations.

I said this yesterday

The best indications last night was that there would be an announcement in 24-48 hours, that still stands.

There zero chance he go to Italy, the leagues crap, there no money and it corrupted. The Premiership is the BIGGEST league in the world and the richest by a long long way, only an idiot would turn down 6-7 mil a year to go to Italy for probably 1mil a year if lucky.

I highly doubt he's sacked us off to go Italy, like, but have to say that their league is really starting to pick up again. Some really exciting games there - it's a lot more entertaining than La Liga, at least.

The itk's have not gone missing they have said it is done witch i believe it is but for Southampton at the last minute throw a no poaching clause in.

Do you know if Koeman is on holiday? not sure if it matters, just need it announced so can have peace of mind

; no poaching clause ; would break prem league rules not enforceable

Depends on if we are still going to be the "gentleman's club" and honour such things.

Personally i hope we don't, am not arsed about ruffling a few feathers from now on.

didn't Brenda have one with swansea and ended up signing the welsh Xavi?
