I think so.

I think we're the ones pressing for Monchi, anyway - but doubt we'll hear anything until a few days (at least) on that front until after RK is sorted

Aye - everything seems silent about the DoF role, which going by what Esk has said in the past thats good news. Would be nice to have a week of announcements like, starting to day (HINT HINT EVERTON). Manager, followed by Dof, then a conference with both next week.

Surely its illegal for Southampton to refuse anyone who works for them the right to seek or obtain work elsewhere? Are they going to rewite every Southampton players contract to say 'you're not allowed to sign for Everton'. Its like ASDA refusing to let a check out girl leave and go to Sainsburys. Illegal restriction of trade. I think. Not sure though. Esk ?

Hope Moyes doesn't go there, for their sake..he'll move all their good players on 'to further their career'.
No, you can stop it. Can't remember the name but you can block employees signing with rival firms if you so desire...

Not sure where else to put it (probs world football, really - but since so many wanted him) - looks like Emery to PSG is happening.

Certainly backs up what all the ITK's said about Emery turning us down, then - and as I said last week - it timed perfectly with the first reports of the PSG interest emerging.
Pretty sure no one has said that Emery turned us down...

It's called a Restrictive Covenant. Some are enforceable at law and some are not. I think this would be enforceable on the grounds that there are lots of other clubs apart from Everton that Saints players could join. It's not overly restricting them by having this clause in. Problem here is that no current Saints players would have this restriction in their contract!
