You can't but you can insist that they don't until contracts etc have finished, if you do this they have to go on gardening leave so basically paid for nothing until the contract/ notice period has ended.

Yes, but Monchi is a DoF, has an extensive scouting system and done 0 coaching.

Emery is a head coach, so he coaches the players in his squad. Monchi does nothing of the sort - therefor, its not right to say he is half the manager without him.
