I suppose there has to be some hiatus between this and the official EFC announcement out of courtesy to Southampton.

We have to go along with it to make it look as if Moshiri and Koeman are going to meet for the first time in the same room, allowed only after compensation was agreed.

All part of the charade and spectacle I suppose.

Can only imagine Southampton have told their local BBC reporters they've agreed a compensation deal, and then those BBC reporters have jumped the gun in saying it's all done. Can't imagine why Everton are denying it, unless things aren't 100% agreed with Koeman?

probably peed off that Southampton are announcing it first after all the delays they caused
