Find it bizarre that fellow fans are happy to talk about players that we can poach from Southampton - but must be some of the same people who formed an irrational dislike for Moyes, partly on the basis of him trying to poach Fellaini and Baines.

That just ain't the right way of it though, is it?

It wasn't the fact that Moyes came after our players......that indeed is "part of football".

It was his comments at the time about how he would not have "stood in the way of any player" if Ferguson had came in for him and that Everton should be just letting their contracted players leave if a "big club" came looking for them at the BOGOF prices he was looking to plunder our prize assets for.

Which apart from owt else, displayed incredible hypocrisy on Wee Davey's behalf as he had all but challenged Mark Hughes to a duel when that person went over his head to try and buy Lescott.

There is nothing "irrational" about our dislike of Moyes.

He was given a tremendous send off by the Goodison faithful then proceeded to treat our club like sommat on the bottom of his shoe.

Yeah, I haven't got a clue really- just conjecture. But this has obviously come from Southampton's end given the BBC article is done by a Solent reporter. Everton denying it means either there's an issue somewhere or they just want to delay any confirmation so they can do it themselves? Otherwise, surely they'd just ignore speculation like they have done to date? Unusual! And annoying!
