Great item here from Telegraph (sorry if already posted)

Says we have always been a big club and puts down the Soton cry babies
Koeman's quality as a manager doesn't even really enter into why it's an important appointment. It's all about the statement that we are going to identify our targets and take them, regardless of what anyone else wants or thinks. It's a statement of intent that we will do what we want instead of living off table scraps anymore.

It is a tad frustrating. Just for me at least, its difficult to fully embrace the reality of Koeman as our new manager and start thinking about transfers etc until its official/done/over the line/confirmed.

They say a watched pot never boils.

I missed the Moshiri announcement by about 40 minutes due to watching Six Nations Rugby on the Saturday but perhaps its better that way.

I'm sure it will be wrapped up by Friday.

(Or perhaps they will fly a banner over the stadium at England vs Russia on Saturday night? A cheap way to inform millions. The banner will read "Koeman. Done. Goodnight. Godbless. #EFC").

We do love our planes like

I reckon we've just forgot to brief the press and hold a presser. No big worries, that's it now till the start of the season or if we bother to announce any transfers, or just wait and see when we take to the field for our first game.
