I.e the deals done and they're waiting for him to have his holiday because there's absolutely zero reason to rush into an announcement. He's signed the contract he Will be announced when he gets home so he can be briefed on what to say and his press conference can be sorted. If we announced it and he had no real comment the fans would be annoyed too. People worrying too much.

Managers only get a short time to take a break from the game as it is. He is taking his allotted holiday time, don't blame him he has a lot to work on when he gets back.

Maybe Koeman is the DOF, with Simeone as manager. It's all fitting into place now.

I'm warming to Ronnie not wishing to interrupt his second holiday to sign his £millions contract. It gives me hope that he doesn't do the expected or comply with the rules all the time. A bit of an anarchist. Either that or Mrs Ronnie has him firmly under the thumb....."I don't care what that Moshiri said, I had my nails done. We're going to (insert resort of choice) whether you like it or not."

Hope he's packed his sunscreen. Factor 50.
