Another contradicting point in his post is, why would Saints worry about him taking Soton players to Everton and insist on such a clause when he's hated by those same players?

Another contradiction to me is, why would players want to come here while they're a step up from us, there should be no need for a clause if they truly believed that. It smacks of an understanding that they're only feeder club to me, who can't afford another pr disaster with their fans. Losing players to Everton would highlight their true objectives and that is to buy cheap and sell at a profit and mearly exist. I think their fans, even though they won't admit it publically, are seeing things as they really are now and it's leaving a bitter taste with us now being public enemy number one instead of the true culprits in all of this, their board. I hope we buy nobody from them, it only encourages them in thinking they're relevant and keeps them in the position they're in because they rely on that money.

The r/s will take them off their hands.

If I can wonder why we are going for Koeman when we have the resources we have now, I can definitely imagine Southamptons board not exactly being in panic stations in all the negotiations about the thought of losing him.

Will fully support the new manager of course, but still feel very meh about it all.
From the outside looking in, he seems the absolute perfect fit for me. PL proven and the highest placed manager in the league we could of got/wanted from last season.

By that I mean Ranieri/Potchetino/Wenger aren't leaving and I'd of been gutted if we got Pellergrini/LVG. This guy has had his squad ripped apart twice and has still maintained a nothing club like Southampton on an upwards curve. He lost 7 of 9 over Christmas and only missed out on CL by 3 points.

That said if he ends up being crap and it turns out that he has just been riding on a wave of how well Southampton are organised/ran then that will be a different matter.

There's always that risk in any appointment though

Good thing is we don't have Kenwright at the helm, Koeman would be sacked if it starts to go tits up

Yep. If it was just Kenwright, Martinez may even still be here and we'd already be hearing the whiff of 'I'll give him until Christmas'

If you didn't think that was garbage within seconds of reading it, the last section is tremendous.

Essentially, he's just named a load of managers, said it could be these but if it's not them, it could be one of two managers who my friend knows but won't tell me.

You can guarantee that if they don't hire someone that he's named, then he'll be saying he was one of those two "secret" managers.

Basically Jack Schitt saw someone who used to work in the Southampton box office at Tesco, they saw him too and legged it. Jack tried to catch up with them but he couldn't because he was too out of breath so he decided to sit down in the cafe and write War and Peace about what they could've talked about.

Players hate him
Club don't rate him
Crap on the training field
Hates youth
Club staff not happy

So why are they still trying to make him sign a new contract?
Yet we're completely unaware of all of this and don't know that he doesn't want to come to us. Sounds plausible. ;)
