The Echo article sounds more encouraging.

I can live with it for sure, if it takes until Wednesday.

Perhaps indeed, he just needs to sit down himself with the key personnel at Everton and establish the beginnings of a working relationship with them, to build on what his agent agreed on his behalf.

Can't have any more groundhog days after that, though.

Knowing Bill...

Despite being told several times that it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Bill and that Moyes will not be getting the job.

Dutchman back of his family break but negotiations to drag on
Ronald Koeman is due to hold face-to-face talks with Everton today after returning from holiday.

But his appointment as Roberto Martinez’s successor could yet still drag into the middle of the week.

Everton agreed a £5m compensation package with Southampton last week to free Koeman - and two trusted assistants - from their contracts at St Mary’s.

But a deal to finalise the 53-year-old Dutchman as the Blues’ new boss was delayed as Koeman jetted off for a second pre-planned family holiday.

The former Ajax and Valencia boss has now returned to England and negotiations over his £6m-a-year contract will pick up pace.

Ronald Koeman and brother Erwin
But the ECHO has learnt that although no issues are anticipated, it is believed that it may take until Wednesday before Everton can unveil Koeman as their new boss.

Koeman’s brother Erwin and Jan Kluitemberg, Southampton’s fitness coach, will follow him to Goodison once a deal is complete.

Remind me again when the last year of his contract starts.....

just been told he is at Goodison today to sign the contract, but he is known to be a very slow writer somit will take a few days to complete! Photo's currently trending on facebook showing him sitting at Kenwrights desk, brow furrowed with concentration fat crayon grasped in his chubby little fist, tongue sticking out the corner of his mouth whilst speaking each letter of his namea she writes it! His brother Erwin is pictured next to him feeding him cheesey Wotsits and kia ora
