Like when those lads that were at Goodison decided to tell everyone they weren't buying us, even though they'd thought about it but someone else probably would be buying us soon. That was the most inside info about the club that we'd got off anyone in years.

AVB is still scarred from Spurs where everybody put 4-5 past his team before he walked so not sure about him, but Pellegrini has pedigree and if we can persuade him then I would be very happy.

The problem for PSG is that no matter how much money they spend, they are playing in a mickey-mouse league. When they play decent teams in the CL they will always come unstuck imo.

AVB strikes me as even more stubborn than Roberto and with uncle Bill not wanting to pull the trigger if it all goes wrong..that's my biggest concern with him

Although he is more competent than Roberto so that's a big plus

Pellegrini would be my choice if we can't get JM

Pretty sure that a lot of the players and managers of City, United, Liverpool adn Everton live in Cheshire mate, so all it means is that he has maybe had contact with both of us so is prepping the ground as this area looks a likely destination

given the chance, he gets the best out of his players - he was bullied out of chelsea for not being well known and told how to play at spurs

Mourinho is savvy mate, you honestly think a sly call wasn't made so as to get that pic taken and in the rags the next day, it's all about keeping his profile front and center of the news cycles until he does start work again, same as him being ringside at the boxing the other week

It's nice logic, but i'm sure Ferguson and Charlton would rather see United winning things again rather than the laughing stock they've recently become.

Giving Giggs the job is a MASSIVE risk. I honestly think it's nailed on Mourinho to United, PSG are just coming in with a late bid to try and get him, but surely he'd pick United.
