if PSG have made an offical approach it will maybe force United's hand (and ours if we are genuinely in the game). Jose did say only a few weeks ago he wanted to manage in the Prem, at PSG there would be no challenge domestically so what's the point?

After what happened this season to him at Chelsea a few easy league titles and decent Champions League showings with PSG are exactly what he needs to keep his reputation alive. Sadly.

Out of us, United or PSG, if he wants an easy life, there's only one option.

Does anyone know what Mourinho was like with developing players and youth management at Benfica, Leiria and Porto before he had money to throw around?

He wasn't at Benfica long due to disagreements with the chairman but still did a very decent job in his short time there. He finished 5th with Leiria if I recall correctly, which is still their highest league placing ever, they are now in the third tier.

At Porto it was a bit of everything. He gave opportunities to young players who hadn't established themselves at the club yet (Ricardo Carvalho, Postiga, Ricardo Costa), signed and developed talent from mid-table sides (Paulo Ferreira, Nuno Valente, Derlei, Maniche, Bosingwa), and gave more responsibility and developed players already at the club (Deco, Costinha).

Sometimes people seem to think he got given money to throw around for no reason other than being an arrogant tit!

If PSG or united want jose then he isn't coming here mate, no chance.

think of us (if the esk is right) that we are the best option if he doesnt get a better one elsewhere.

Honestly I don't think he's the kind of guy who wants an easy life. He still thinks he is the greatest manager (maybe even human being) of all time and he will always fully back himself to succeed anywhere. Personally I think that means he'll want to be the man to save Man U and bring back their premier league glory days but we'll see.

We'll see how much he wants to stay in the prem I suppose. Probably using us as a bargaining chip for united but there's plenty of reasons to pick us above them.

Psg operate in a joke league. 1 team who dominate and win at a canter based on Arab money.

Think he might fancy a bit more of a challenge than that.
