Things went tits up at Derby in his first job in charge. It's a no from me.

He got Monchengladbach into the CL for the first time in 30 years. He took them from relegation to finishing 3rd in 5 years. On the other hand he hasn't won much. Out of the ones on there he is clearly the best option.

He got sacked at Derby under weird circumstances, something like he didn't commit to certain things the owner wanted him too.

He left them just outside the play offs I think
