Favre
Emery

Would be my first two choices. They would make us top 5 at the very least.

A bit on both of them:

Emery- Finished 6th, 3rd, 3rd, 3rd with a financially struggling Valencia side. Then finished 5th and 5th with Sevilla (won back to back Europa Leagues). On pace to finish 7th, but could win EL for the THIRD SEASON IN A ROW.

Favre- turned a lowly Gladbach side into a CL team. Finished 3rd in his last full season there. If you thought Bobby doing the double over Moyesie's United was impressive, this guys done the double over Guardiola's Bayern Munich team.

Most of the media's perception of us is getting moyes back is the sum of our ambition them on soccer Saturday laughed off the idea of getting pellegrini

Why would Emery leave Sevilla a club who regularly wins trophies and plays Champions League football for Everton?

We are going to have back to back bottom half finishes, Sevilla haven't finished in the bottom half of La Liga for 15 years.

Moving from Sevilla to Everton is a downgrade in everything including lifestyle, weather, you ask non Everton fans too Sevilla are a bigger club.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Mark Hughes would be an excellent choice as our next manager for three reasons.
1. He's played for us and knows Everton which I think is really important.
2. He has a wonderful passion for the game without being a raving lunatic type.
3. He's British and I know this is a very personal reason but I'm sick and tired of seeing second rate foreign managers (Martinez?) doing an average job in the Premier League.

If that's the case mate why does nearly every single footballer in the world want to play in the PL? Yeah it ain't because of the weather but maybe -

A) they get paid top dollar
B) it's the most competitive league in the world

Moving from Sevilla to Everton is not a downgrade so don't talk bull. Any manager walking into this club will be paid well, given money to spend, a chance for them to make a real name for themselves, test themselves in the Premier League and also have 40,000 fans every other week right behind you if you give them a brand of football they can relate to.

Oh and I've just txt a non Everton fan and they said Everton ;)

Why would Klopp leave Dortmund to go and manage Liverpool for

won the Bundesliga twice with them and reached a CL final
in that time frame Liverppol managed a top 4 finish once

Isn't moving from managing Dortmund to LFC a downgrade using a similar grading system?

Pellegrini ffs we would be absolutely insane not to go for him.
Why would we be? Because he's managed a "massive club"? Generally badly IMO ! We have done this with players in the past, thinking, they must be ace they played for utd etc.pathetic Phil Neville a casing point! We now need a total change in ethos at this crossroads, to change our "bridesmaid " mentality , and Jose is the only option for me, even if he comes and wins f all,he will overnight change our mindset and maybe more importantly that of the outside world looking in ( media, FA , euafa, REFS etc) and propel us back into having the respect we deserve, and be seen as a major "player" again. Break the bank and sell him the "project" , I'm sick and tired of years and years of this club being shackled and dropping down n down the pecking order , we have an opportunity now, let's grow a pair and muscle back in with the "big boys"!

Qualified for the CL with both Villareal and Malaga, reached the SF and the QF with those teams respectively of the CL, given both those teams size and finances (the much quoted Malaga spending spree was actually not particularly a big spend - it just was for a club of Malagas size) that is a remarkable achievement. and has managed to handle some of the biggest ego's in world football without any major fallout from them

Not my first choice - but should we hire him i won't exactly be dissapointed in the slightest

Jose aint coming. Pellegrini would be ok but not sure about his ability to organise a defence. Also his motivation after managing City. Plus side he likes 2 up front

I know most people want a big name manager but personally have a lot of respect for Eddie Howe.
