Love people saying they'd prefer pellegrini over Mourinho like we actually have a choice lmao. Mourinho is pure fantasy.

Why though ?

I haven't seen anybody argue the key point, that if he wants to stay in the Prem and LVG stays at United he either has to wait for a year at least or join a team like PSG, whose league he was recently slating.

Just heard an Alan Stubbs rumour. People actually putting money on it too. Can't see it myself but you never know.

The dream appointment for me would be Simeone. We'd have to offer him an unbelievable package in terms of wages and a transfer chest though.

I actually wouldn't be surprised if he's utd's first choice if LVG goes.

What's our 'minimum' kind of manager?
A "win everything" - Guardiola/Mourinho type?
A "always good in Europe" - Pellegrini type?
Around 50% win rate (18 wins a season would be around top 4) - Rudi Garcia?
Proven Prem League ability - Koeman?
Proven squad builder - [no-one particularly comes to mind]?

Simple answer would be the best that we can possibly get mate
